Mahaguard Terrace coat – SR is a special synthetic resin based waterproofing coating. It has excellent flexibility and thixotropic nature, it is supplied ready-to-use for cold application. It forms flexible coating.

Typical application
- Waterproofing of roof slabs, terraces, balconies, sun shades, parapet walls, roofs ranging from asphalt, asbestos cement sheets, metal surfaces and terrazzo tiles, etc.
- Recommended for both horizontal and sloped structures.
- Waterproofing of new as well as old substrate.
Application Areas :
- Two coats are recommended on uneven and jointed surfaces to minimize the possibility of thin patches, missed areas and pin holes.
- In case of two-coat applications, it is important to re-coat within 12 hours of the first coat becoming sufficiently cured to allow operator access.
- A short haired synthetic coating brush should be used.
- If a water test is to be done, the membrane should be fully cured. Minimum 72 hrs.
- For better results use Glass Fiber Reinforcement embedded into 1st coat of Mahaguard Terrace Coat SR while 1st coat is wet. Apply 2nd coat in the interval of 8 to 10 hrs after application of 1st coat.
Properties :
Consumption :1kg/m /0.5 to 0.6 mm DFT. It may vary and depends upon surface undulations and other detailing.

Storage & Self Life : Store in a cool dry place under shed away from heat. Shelf life is one year in original unopened conditions. Protect the material against moisture and direct sunlight. Storage temperature: 20°C to 30°C
