Single Component Elastomeric Bituminous Rubberised Liquid Membrane.
Mahaguard Terrace coat – SR is a special synthetic resin based waterproof coating. It has an excellent flexibility and thixotropic nature, it is available in pour grade for application by trowel, roller, spray & brush.
Features:
- It is a highly elastic product having elongation 1200-1400%, and cures to a rubber like membrane capable of with standing severe cases of expansion, contraction, and deck movements.
- More durable than normal asphalt coating and lasts longer than other coatings.
- Superior adhesion properties ensure durable bond and resistance to peeling and flaking.
- Unique property of adapting itself over the irregular contours of the deck and forming a waterproof and impervious layer.
- Single component, cold applied & requiring no mixing or heating.
- It has excellent Anti-root property.
- Corrosion resistant and vapour barrier.
Application Areas :
- Waterproofing for roofs ranging from asphalt, asbestos, cement to concrete, metal surfaces, and terrazzo tiles.
- Recommended for horizontal structure, decks & slabs.
- Waterproofing of roof slabs, terraces, balconies, sun shades, parapet walls, etc.
- Waterproofing of new as well as old surfaces.
- It has good adhesion for all types of polymers and bituminous coatings.
- It can be used for slope roofs and passages.
Properties :
Coverage : 1kg/m2 in 2 coats to achieve 700-800 μ DFT.
Packing : Mahaguard Terrace coat – SR is available in 1kg, 5kg, 20kg and 50kg pails.
Storage & Self Life : The shelf life is one year from the date of manufacture when stored in original, unopened containers. Store in a cool and dry place.
