Two-Component, Flexible Cementitious Waterproofing Membrane.
Mahaseal 2K is a two-component cementitious & acrylic polymer based flexible cementitious waterproofing coating. Made up from the best quality portland cement, properly selected & graded aggregates, additives & acrylic emulsion polymers. It provides an excellent water resistant barrier to waterproof membrane.
Features:
- Excellent adhesion to substrate.
- Bonds to both porous and non-porous surface.
- Allows water vapors from the interiors of the substrate to come out.
- It has excellent breathable properties.
- It is non-toxic and suitable for drinking water tank.
- It is chloride free hence does not affect RCC.
- It is resistant to atmospheric carbon dioxide and chloride ion diffusion.
- It with stand with hydrostatic water pressure up to 7 bars.
Application Areas :
- It can be used as waterproofing membrane for water retaining structures, cellars, terraces, bathrooms, walls for artificial lakes
sumps & submerged tunnels etc. - For foundation and roof waterproofing.
- Can be used to waterproofing in swimming pool, water tanks, sewage effluent tanks.
Properties :
Coverage : 1.6kg – 1.8kg/m2 in 2 coats to achieve a DFT of 1.5mm – 2mm
Packing : Mahaseal 2K is available in 15kg, 30kg packs.
Storage & Self Life :The shelf life is 1 years from the date of manufacturing. Store in a cool and dry place.
