Mahagrout CPG - 100
Expanding and Plasticising Grout Admixture.
Mahagrout CPG – 100 imparts non-shrink and plasticised expanding grout
admixture is supplied as a powder. The material is a combination of a plasticising agent. The plasticising agent allows the use of a reduced water/ cement ratio with consequent increased strengths and durability. It is an additive to cement.
Features:
- Its expansion system compensates for plastic shrinkage and settlement in properly designed cementitious grout.
- Reduced water/cement ratio mixes in the grout mix ensures low permeability and long term durability in service.
- Gives grout high fluidity with low water/cement ratio, thus making placement or injection of the grout easy.
- No metallic iron content to corrode and cause staining or deterioration due to rust expansion in the grout.
- Composition allows high early strength development in grouts, it is corrosion free because it is free from chloride and iron.
- It reduces segregation.
Application Areas :
- For cementitious grouting, for filling cracks, honey combs etc.
- Duct grouting, non-shrinks filling.
- For joining structural elements by injection and pressure grouting (a pressure pump of around 2-3 bars is used).
- Gravity grouting.
- Applications include bed grouting, duct grouting, non-shrink infilling and jointing.
Properties :
Dosage :
- Pressure grouting with cement only (neat cement) : 250gm (1 pack) per 50kg of cement.
- Gravity grouting cement grout (neat cement and sand 1 : 1): 250gm (1 pack) per 50kg of cement for concrete.
Coverage :
- For best results a mechanically powered grout mixer must be used. For quantities up to 50kg, a slow speed drill fitted with a big
shear paddle is suitable. - The cement (and sand if required) shall be slowly added to Mahagrout CPG – 100.
- Mixing shall be continued for 5 minutes, making sure that a smooth even consistency is obtained.
Packing : Mahagrout CPG – 100 is supplied in 250gms packet.
Storage & Self Life : 1 Year if stored in dry and moisture free area.
