Mahaguard Blackshield-706 is a single-pack bitumen-based flexible protective waterproof liquid membrane. It is highly durable waterproofing coating having excellent root resistance, alkaline and efflorescence, and mould and algae properties.

Typical application
It ideal for a wide range of waterproofing applications such as basements, tunnels, ground floors, suspended floors, roof terraces, balconies, and inspection pits water retaining structures (not potable water), sewage works, and inverted roofs.
Properties:
Surface Preparation : Surface must be thoroughly cleaned, free of dust, grease etc. and washed well with water. Treat any areas affected by algae, moss or fungal growth with biocide wash solution. The surface to be checked for cracks, hollowness and loose plastered areas etc. if any. All loose plaster and cracks larger than 10 mm width to be repaired a polymer modified mortar by using Mahacrete SBR Super or Mahaproof PU-600 sealants. Allow to cure overnight before general application. The cracks up to 5 mm to be treated with Rhino Crackseal-Paste.
Consumption : 1-1.1m /kg/0.5 mm DFT. Rough or textured surfaces will reduce the coverage rate and consequently more material.

Storage & Self Life : Store in a cool dry place under shed away from heat. Shelf life is One year in original unopened conditions.
